U.S. President Donald Trump stated that he has held discussions with multiple parties regarding the purchase of TikTokand plans to make a decision within the next 30 days.

President Donald Trump announced that he will reveal his decision about  TikTok 's  future within the next 30 days. Speaking to reporters aboard the Air Force One, Trump mentioned that he had discussed the matter with various individuals.

I’ve talked to many people about TikTok, and there’s significant interest,” Trump said, recalling that the U.S. Congress provided a 90-day deadline for the issue. “If we can save TikTok, I think it would be a good thing,” he added.

Oracle emerges as a key contender

While Oracle is frequently mentioned in discussions to take over TikTok's U.S. operations, no final deal has been reached yet. According to ReutersByteDance intends to retain control of the app while Oracle manages data security and software updates. NPR reports that  Oracle is interested in acquiring “tens of billions of dollars’ worth” of TikTokshares.

Additionally, existing ByteDance investors in the U.S., such as Sequoia Capital General Atlantic, and Susquehanna International Group, might be part of the potential deal. Previously, Trump suggested that the U.S. should hold a 50% stake in TikTok. Apart from  Oracle , an investor group led by Frank McCourt and YouTube star Mr. Beast have also expressed interest.

The app, currently used by approximately 170 million Americans, was temporarily taken offline before a law requiring its sale or ban for national security reasons went into effect on January 19. Shortly after assuming office, Trump signed an executive order delaying the law's implementation by 75 days.
