Samsung unveils a foldable laptop that transforms into a briefcase

At MWC 2025, Samsung showcased its innovative foldable laptop concept, the “Flexible Briefcase”, which can also function as a stylish suitcase.

The device features an 18.1-inch QD-OLED display with a 2000 x 2664 pixel resolution. When folded, it transforms into a compact briefcase, making it easy to carry with its built-in handles.

Samsung Display states that the foldable screen is designed with a 4.5R folding radius, ensuring reliability. With a 184 PPI pixel density, the display is slightly lower than the 212 PPI panel on the Galaxy Book4 Ultra, yet it still delivers sharp and vibrant visuals. However, it remains unclear whether this device will ever be released as a commercial product.

At the event, Samsung also introduced the “Asymmetric Flip”, a concept similar to the Galaxy Z Flip but with two folding points, a new version of the trifold “Flex G”, and the foldable-screen gaming console “Flex Gaming”.
